I am currently a new person getting into bikes, I do not know much of them though. I found a 2002 CBR 6004fi for sale for $2800.00, with 995 miles on it. Does this sound like a a good deal? What type of questions should I ask the seller about the bike? Thanks to all that can help me out.

 

Hey dude, I'm not the most experienced person myself, but from what I've seen, 2002 F4i that are in excellent condition usually sell for twice that much. I guess the first thing you'll need to find out about is the condition the bike is in. Was it trashed and then repaired? and is it mechanically fine? Thats pretty much all i can help with but i'm sure more experienced bikers will add their 0.2 cents.

It would be an awesome price if it were legit. Where did you see it at. It sounds like an internet scam.

 

wow!! that sounds too good to be true. better do some homework on this one.

 

I would see if it has a clean title first off. If it is a salvage title, you may have some trouble getting it insured from what I hear.

It would be a good deal if all was in order though. I paid twice that for my '01. Good luck.

 

You may want to do what the other members have recommended, but also if you can take it to a motorcycle shop and have inspected. To good to be true!!, I have a 2000600f4 and I bought it with 5000 miles for about double the price.
