Default BIKE STALLS AFTER I RELEASE THE CHOKE

"99" MY BIKE HAS NOW 22K AND WAS RUNNING FINE BUT TILL ABOUT COUPLES DAYS AGO I START THE BIKE LET IT WARM UP THEN GO TO RELEASE THE CHOKE THE BIKE STALLS I THINK ITS THE CARB. BUT NOT SURE CAN YOU GUYS HELP ME OUT ANY BODY HAD THIS PROB BEFORE

Damn, more thread probs!! Can't post much more than a sentance but yeah carb probs most likely. Look around for things out of place to start with though.

Check vac lines, check fuel filter, check really really dirty air filter or the neighbors cat in the intake. Do easy stuff before carb surgery!

ill do all that, just wanted to know if any body had similar prob so i could go straight to the prob but i don't mind taking her apart and checking everything i love feeling her up ,lol

my choke doesnt even work
might have to stick a screwdriver in there and tap the metal bar that links the choke, mine didn't work when I got mine but it has since been freed up perfectly when I cleaned my carbs

also, I'm with mauthman, turn the idle screw in a little, if it's out all the way the bike will just stall out

yeah i tryed the ideal screw but it kinda wanted to run but still stalled so i turned it some more and now it runs fine ??? but why did this prob come up why do you guys think i had to lean it more .it was running fine tilll about a few days ago ?? wtf ! did some one mess with my bike or what???

you could have accidently knocked the idle screw.. or maybe some rough terrain.. i dunno lol

I think with all the vibrations in there the idle screw may have simply worked itself out over time
