bike randomly dies
I laid my bike down at low speed about a month ago. Ever since, my bike has had these random turn-offs. It happens sporratically, and I havent figured out exactly what the fix is, though I have my theories.
Scenerio:
Riding last week, evening time. 75 degrees maybe.cruising down the street in 4th.Roll on the throttle to get into another lane, and the Rs drop like 1,500-2,000 the jump back to normal. This happens several times, and whencome toa stopat a redlight, the engine turns off and wont turn back over. All the electricals are working just fine, but the engine just wont fire.
Theonly remedy I have found so far is to just turn the bike off and wait for the temp gauge to dropway into the "cool" range. Then she will start. I have been thinking it's vapor lock, and it has the symptoms of it- butthe turn-offshappen when it's warm, cool, on long hard rides, or just going through town. Any suggestions?
Any help would be greatly appreciated...

RE: bike randomly dies
When the bike dies like that and won't start up again pop the lid on your gas tank, then seal it again and try again. If that fixes it then when you low sided you bent or kinked the pressure release line for the gas tank.
If that doens't fix it post up some more info and I can try again

RE: bike randomly dies
I had laid mine down and have this same problem after doing a full rebuild. i have changed the battery out because i wouldnt be able to get it to kick over again once it died. now there's power but id does continually die. i have checked for kinks in my line and it seems okay so i think it might be some clogged fuel lines or some sort of carb adjustment i need to do.
