Bad relay possibly blowing out fuse??
I had a problem before about two months ago that my whole gauge cluster went out. Everything but the headlight stoped working. Well thanks to these forums I found it to be a blow fuse. So... put in a new fuse and good to go. TILL NOW! It seems to only do it when its running and im using my turn signals. So the only thing I can think of is that the turn signal relay is over currenting the system and its tripping the fuse. Sound right? I honestly have no idea about anything electrical. Thanks for any help guys!

RE: Bad relay possibly blowing out fuse??
Ok since your not getting a response ill try to help ya out. A faulty relay could be the issue, however, more likely its a bad switch or wire with the insulation rubbed off causing it to ground and blow a fuse. Your best bet is to get a multimeter and try to hunt down the issue. If your not electrically inclined i recommend finding a buddy that is, though its usually not too hard to troubleshoot a 12V system. You'll probably need a manual too in order to following the wiring diagrams to help isolate which wires to test and what could be the issue. A simple multimeter can also tell you if there is an issue with the relay. Good luck and if you have any specific questions shoot me a PM and ill see what i can do.
