Default back on the road finally

So the story begins aug. 19th 2006 i was riding on I77 south near Canton OH. and i got a bad case of tankslap... I went into the median and regained control of the bike... No sooner that i got control of the bike did i hit a water runoff culvert and sent me ramping my bike and flipping in the median. I was knocked out because i hit my helmet on the top of the triple trees and and finally came to rest in the median- I was riding with my brother and my best friend-- they said i looked like a ragdoll--- i woke up in the hospital...... One year later i have made a complete recovery minus some scars----- here is some pics of the bike before and after-- comment- 'this forums upload style sucks--- just click on the links-

Welcome back and glad to hear that made a full recovery.
Looks like the bike took a lil beating but you did some nice work on it.
Did you do all the work yourself?

Do you know what caused the tank slap?

Again, glad to hear you're ok.

hey its good to hear your still breathing---- in all honesty painting can be done by anyone-- the hardest thing about it is the equipment you have to buy----- youll have to have a paint gun--- i prefer a gravity feed HVLP gun---- easy to use and doesn't take alot of paint---- a good compressor and some willpower---- i paint single engine cessna aircraft for a living so painting the bike was a breeze----- anything else just ask
