It's been a good few weeks since I took the bike off the road after the fan switch failed and the water pump started leaking.
But on Monday I finally got her back on the road. Water pump from eBay (so far so good) and a switch from Maplin to turn the fan on and off.
Strange thing is, this morning the fan started working automatically again.
Also, pushing the bike backwards in second or third gear before setting off seems to make the camchain rattle quieter (tip from my local mechanic).
Glad I didn't get back on the bike earlier or I might have been taken out by a falling helicopter!
