Hi everyone- I just picked up a 2000 CBR F4 with 6000 miles on it last weekend. I am a new rider and am interested in learning. Here are a few questions:

Electrical:
My right turn signal indicator is always illuminated... this might be accurate because I think it is stuck on (not blinking). The right rear turn signal stays on unless I turn the left signal on. It could be a mixed up wiring connection. Is this a 'do it yourself'' project or should I have a professional look at it??

Other:
I was riding with some guys last night who when parked leave their batteries on to run their fans to cool down the engine. Does this model have a fan like this? If so, I could not hear mine running like I could hear theirs.

Your fan will only run when the temperature reaches a predetermined setting, then your fan will run until the temperature falls to a predetermined low setting.

I believe the blinkers stay lit from the factory, kind of like running lights.
