2000 f4 brake problem
Hey guys
I'm not too mechanically inclined but i can get by...
however recently i bought a 2000 f4 and it had a front brake issue.
it felt like there was air in the lines, and thats what the guy i bought it from said because he just put on new steel braided lines
so the other night i bled the front brake lines and there is no air in the lines now... every pump is only brake fluid now.
however when i go to brake its still feels spongy and takes a couple pumps before the front brakes will grab hold.
does anyone know what might be causing this?

RE: 2000 f4 brake problem
i bled them by pumping brake lever and holding, then loosening down by the caliper, and then tightening down by the caliper, then releasing the brake lever
making sure that the fluid level didnt drop too low as i went as well...
i talked to the service dept at the local honda shop and the guy told me that most of the time when people put steel braided lines on they get air in their banjo bolt... he said all i probably have to do is loosen that and ill hear air come out...
has anyone bled their brakes and had to loosen the banjo bolt to release any extra air? anything special ill need to do?
