Default 2000 CBR f4 starting problem

Hey guys iv'e been surfing around looking for solutions to my problem but i can't really find anything i haven't tried. Ok so i rode my bike maybe 2 days ago and it was fine. I commute on it 30 miles each way to work and back so i know it was running smooth. I came out to start it yesterday morning and it would come on but eventually just sputter out even with the choke on, sort of like its not getting fuel. Anyway i replaced the battery, i have a new rectifier i put in a few weeks ago, i checked the plugs and they looked fine they were just replaced a month and a half ago. I also have half tank of gas and i just put some iso heet in it to remove moisture. The bike doesn't even turn over any more it just cranks and cranks until the battery dies. I have tried 2 batteries one that was bought this morning and the one i already had in it. Im stumped any ideas? Anything would be appreciated since this is my daily driver until the first snow hits.

Well Off the bat do you have the service manual? if you don't heres a link
hondatech.info: Honda service manuals

you could check the fuel or water pumps or even the fuel flow to the carbs. There's a troubleshooting section in the back of the manual it covers problems starting and lack of power.

If you've already done everything in the manual than its beyond my mechanical prowess for motorcycles.

let me get this straight. the bike cranks but wont start? you said it wont turn over but just cranks. to a mechanic, that makes no sense. cranking and turning over are the same thing.

now, you have gas in the tank. is the fuel getting to the carbs? try putting it on reserve.

the engine needs 3 basic things to run: spark, fuel, air. which are you missing? if you have all 3, then you need to look into the perfect amounts of each. start with the basics first, then we will talk about air/fuel metering, spark timing, and compression.

sorry i dont understand the lingo. Its making the rick rick rick rick noise but there is no vroom. whatever that rick rick rick noise is right before it actually ignites and starts running. I have a full tank of gas. How can i check if fuel is getting to the carbs? THe spark plugs are sparking i checked all 4 and i dont have a reserve on my f4. I had one on my old bike but not on this one. I think of the 3 that could be the problem the gas getting to the carbs might be the most likely candidate or the air. I dont work on my bike much so bear with me im a little illiterate when it comes to anything thats near the engine. Ive only replaced clutches and cables.

can you pull off the hose going to the carbs at the tank or at the carbs? shut off the gas first, then use a cup to catch a little gas. does your bike have a fuel pump? i got a injected 929... so bear with me!
