2000 CBR 600f low voltage out of stator
Bought a CBR 600f4 a month ago, and after riding it, at times the bike would die. So far I have replaced the R/R, and battery and it cleaned up the idle a little. Still continues to try to die, but only when at operating temp and the fan kicks on. Tested the stator and at idle RPM is shows 11.3 volts at 4k RPM it drops to 10.4 and at 6k RPM is drops to 9.3. Any ideas would be helpful.

Stator passed, the guy checking it, didnt unplug it. When I Tested it again with it unplugged it Tested better. Think the engine could be overheating. Coolant was ridiculously low as it primarily happens when the engine is an over operating temperature. As can happen in traffic on hot *** days. I put my brothers r/r on my bike from his cbr and it did the same thing.

that might be important. if you unplug the fan does it still die? (don't let 'er overheat..)
get a voltmeter on it and monitor the voltage when the fan kicks in. does the voltage drop like crazy when the fan kicks in?
stators can fail in a load-dependant way.. cracks in copper windings can be suprisingly dynamic. i've seen a cracked stator winding fail like 'ohms out roughly within spec, and charges ok until high beam is turned on'.
could definitely be a combination of heat and load pushing the stator over the edge of failure.
just a thought..
