it's weird, and i was wondering, between 7000rpm and 8000rpm this CBR600F4's engine gets really loud for some reason, like a wirring or, something, i cant explain it as i havent ridden the bike....

any idea what might be wrong, or if it's bad?...

i'm buying it and would like to know....

 

Sounds like a clutch or transmission problem, but wihtout more details it's hard to diagnose.

needless to say, i bought it, $4000cdn for a 1999 CBR600F4

but you think $4000 is kinda high?, it has a few little scratches, a crack or two ( small ), and a dent on the tank, but it's in really good shape otherwise....

 

Yea, at least for here in the states, most guys are picking them up for around 3000 USD for ones in really good shape. Maybe the market up there is a lot different but for 3500-4000 you can usually find an F4i

 

thats nuts, a 2000 CBR600F4 other then the one i'm picking up, is going for $5900....

things are so much cheaper in the states!...

 

i just picked my 2000 f4 up for 4100 but is from a dealership and has all kinds off aftermarket stuff on it

 

I guess that's not as bad as I thought it was, Kelly Blue Book value says average dealer price for a 2000 F4 is $4400. Just seems really high compared to what I've paid, but I guess both you guys got a good deal
