I have a 96 f3. I need some new lifters and the local dealer wants $34 a piece. I have found a set of lifters and shims off a 93 f2. Just curious if anyone knows if they are the same size/ will they work on the f3? Trying to save every penny i can. Thanks in advance

 

I'm not a 100% for sure, I have never worked on a F2 but I have always heard the motors for a F2 and a F3 are basically the same motor.... I would think they are the same style of shims.....


me personally, I would call a honda dealership and ask.... or check both service manuals for size's
