Default Who wants to see some pretty gauges?

Here's some more progress on my f3,
sorry about the lateness, had some exams and whatnot to take care of.

This is the mount.
I got sick of it being whiteish, so i put a lil red and black on it.

Like the red?
I'll see if I can find a night pic of it, its killer, cept the lighting led brightness on the numbers is a bit off but its fixable.

See how 12 is much brighter?
I think it has to do with the colored/grid plastic back of the stock one, which darkens the 12 area and makes others brighter so all the numbers have the same intensity.

Any ideas on how to fix that?
Sharpie?

Looks good Mate, hey do you know if there is a way to change the guage from MPH to KPH? I'm in Australia and the guages cost a bomb down here so i wanted to get a set off Ebay USA but don't want them in MPH as we operate the other way?

Also how did you get your shape for the bracket? trial and error with cardboard? or somehting else?

the f4i gauge can swap between the mph/kph i believe, i'm pretty sure i did it once fooling around with the buttons to the left

my roomate is quite talented with a laser cutter.
i cut out a news paper and poked the 3 holes, then cut it out and made a triangle around the holes.
then i made a cardboard copy
he went all out for me and made 4 holes in the back, 3 to make the gauge's back lay flush on the plastic and 1 hole for the wires to come snugly through. also the 3 mounting holes.
and i eventually made another for my lights switch.
im not quite sure how he did the cuts, but im sure i could get him to make another one, or several more if people are interested.
prolly only have to pay for the plastic... though its expensive.

I have that same damn wind screen on my bike! I've been wanting to do away with it, but haven't found a smoked stock screen yet. Gauges look good though!
