Whirring bearing noise

Whirring bearing noise
Hi all,
I've had my F3 just over a year and I've got a bearing whirring noise, and it's gradually getting worse.
first I thought it was wheel bearings so replaced from and back. (Rides a lot better now ) . But the noise remains and slowly getting worse.
I've done approx 800 miles in the last year.
checked chain isn't too tight, checked and changed chain and sprockets. Checked the rear brake hose isn't touching the wheel etc.
I'm leaning towards thinking it could be the main drive shaft (if that's what it's called).
before I start ripping the engine to bits to replace those bearings, is there a way I can check it?
any pointers on anything else to check would be greatly appreciated!!
many thanks
Dave

I assume that you noise only appears when in motion from your description.
When do you first hear the noise ? Could the noise be coming from your brakes ? Have you checked your brake pad sliders, if the pads or a pad aren’t allowed to back off once you release you could get a binding sound.
Clutch issue, broken clutch plate. Pressure plate loose or retainer torn out.
Just a few suggestions as possible culprits.
Best of luck mate.

Hi,
I've not really had much time to investigate it whilst I've been moving home.
plus I managed to pop the voltage regulator over the weekend . Again.. so another is on order.
it's got 36k miles on it.
I'm actually now thinking it's the front wheel bearings (even thou I replaced them a few .months back)
pushing the bike the front wheel is making a noise. So I'm gonna strip it down and check
if I get chance this weekend I'll let you know how I get on.
