Where can I get bar-end weights and mirrors?
Hi there,
I'm looking for new bar-end weights (picture included), and mirrors.
Any tips on where to get them?
Let me know if the picture is viewable to you, as I'm trying out a new host.

www.mrcycles.com
www.ronayers.com
http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...torcycle+parts
btw, good is your friend.
The sites above are good for oem parts, but you can get some cheap bar ends for like $12 or something, but I don't think they're weighted. I got some bar sliders can't feel any difference from oem with respect to the bars vibrating. Ebay has some mirrors for like $35 a set, should be just as good as oem.
If you want oem, you're gonna end up paying a small fortune if it's new. Could probably pay less than $60 total if you look at aftermarket

RE: Where can I get bar-end weights and mirrors?
Thanks for all the tips! Much appreciated!
Sorry Kwong, for once I totally forgot about Google, LOL.
I was having a hard time finding someone that could supply all the different things I needed.
Being located outside the US makes it a little more cost effective to order from one vendor to save on shipping.
I needed OEM weights (one was broken) for the inside of the bars. Most aftermarket bar-ends are just the ends, with no weights.
I needed aftermarket mirrors (due to price of OEM), and finally I just remembered I needed a new windscreen.
The one I have is of unknown origin, and quite ugly if I must say so. It was supposedly a double bubble "type", but if you ask me it was all bubble and no double.
Now I just ordered all of these things from bikebandit, and we'll see how it turns out.
Thank you Pointman, I'll post progress pictures. I'll paint it next weekend if the gods are with me.
I applied spray filler this weekend, and everything looks pretty good.
I had to move some of the fairings today, and one of them took off tumbling in the wind over the asphalt!
So that one will need a little love before I prime it, but it's still in the middle of winter here so it's not like I don't have the time.

ORIGINAL: Ar15 guy
Ok so is there weights that go down into the bars? Then the bar ends thread into those? Just wondering because my F3 doesn't have bar ends so maybe the weights fell out?

Yes the handlebars are supposed to have weights in them (over here they're called vibration dampeners).
The bar-ends are a part of the whole thing, and screw into the weights.
I'm trying to add a picture of the weights to this post, but don't know if it works.
As you can see, one of mine is broken (and quite rusty I might add).
If you don't have bar-ends, just look into the end of the bar. You should see the weights no problem.
