Where to buy parts?
Hey all.
I'm going to be doing some maintenance on my bike coming up, and would like to know the best place for getting parts (ie: sprockets, lights, filters, etc.)
I got laid off a few months back, and have only recently found a job so I want to avoid as much mark up as possible (my local honda shop says the only sprocket that's 520/43T will cost me $120..this is rediculous..)
Thanks much in advance.

Also, the bike came with 2 sprockets (wrong sizes) Anyone know offhand what year they may go to (and how much I could sell them for lol.)
The front sprocket is: 520 15T Renthal
The rear sprocket is :520 45T Renthal

If you want the best prices, goto ebay. The sprockets you have are aftermarket just like whatever people normally buy. They're for your bike, just aren't made by Honda. And if you're tight on cash, don't buy OEM, you'll pay up the ***. Also, get a 530 chain, that's what's stock and it won't wear out as fast like a 520 chain, it will just have a little more rotating mass than the 520.

Would these sprockets work, or are steel sprockets bad?

That'll work, it'll be heavier and add a little more rotating mass, but will wear much better than an aluminum sprocket. Make sure that's the right size (i.e. 520, 525, 530 size) since it doesn't say.
edit: Vortex has a clearance item for a 14t vortex sprocket for $12, I believe the stock is a 15t, and this one would change your top end for 5th gear from a theoretical 155mph to 144mph, or for 6th gear, theoretical 171mph to 159mph.

Also, they have a 15t front sprocket made by sprocket specialist on clearance for $25 vs. the normal $33
