Default What's this part called, Round 3

I can't catch a break with this thing.

Came home from work today, bike was on its side. I dunno, maybe the wind took the cover like a parachute? That's my "nice" answer. Anyway, the throttle sticks. I took the switch cover off, annnnnnnnd:

That black bar in the middle is bent. What's it called? Part #'s are appreciated.

Bonus points if you can tell me why the **** I ever bought a bike in the first place.

Looks like he's talking about the handlebar. Least that's the only bar I see in the pic

Maybe the small curved part of metal that directs the throttle cable into the controls? That's supposed to be bent if that's what you're talking about?..

RHS Handlebar mate....... Remove it heat it up and stick it in the vice and bend it back. I had exactly the same happen to me bu it was a car that knocked mine over!

Its heavy grade so wont break as long as you are gentle!

And liqid_insanity has the right Honda Part Number for you

Clip-on, handlebar, RH bar, and you have no reason to be on a CBR. You shouldn't have bought it in the first place by the sounds of it. Go get a suzuki and then realize how much better Honda is from a other side of the fence.

+1 agree... a little bit of heat and a vice go a long way.

Yeah, talkin about the main bar. It's got that bow in it. I didn't want to throw it in the vice cuz I wasn't sure if I'd ever get it "straight," and then I'd just be irritated all the time.
