Default What voltage?

What voltage should my battery be at before and after I turn my bike on? When I tested it it was at 3vac both off and on.

Well first off try to switch your multimeter to DC power...

It should read 12v or over, and when running and revving somewhere around 14v @3000-4000rpm and above.

Thanks for your insight! Your the only one who responds to me. I appreciate it!
How should my spark plugs look?
Mine were white and what looked like a little oily around the bottom.

Do a google image search on spark plug color, you'll find so many reference charts it's pointless to start linking them here.

Sounds about what it should give out. Do you have problems or suspect you got a bad battery?

I posted a thread about two weeks ago about how my bike started running like it was running out of gas especially in 3rd or better. No throttle response very intermittent. You suggested I check the battery or the rectifier. That was changed already. I found a ruptured vacuum piston diaphragm and I changed it. I thought that was it. It runs better but still somewhat the same. I even thought maybe it's the aftermarket exhaust I put on but when I swapped back it was the same. So now I'm changing my plugs and all of them look different.
Ugh...

Oh, sorry didn't connect the dots. That happens when you're browsing something like six forums daily...

So all the plugs look different? That suggests an uneven fill in the cylinders. Do you know when the carbs have last been syncronized (don't remember did I ask already in the other thread and honestly can't be arsed to check )
