What kind of chain & sprockets do you use?
I'm needing new chain and sprockets and I know there isn't a better place on the internet to find reviews on them so what do you guys use and think of the different ones? I'd like to get a set if at all possible to save money.
The O-ring chains are nice but idk if I really need one just to lower the noise.
as always I really appreciate any info or links thanks guys!

OEM chains - D.I.D & RK. Both are excellent quality chains.
Give Sprocket Center a look for chain & sprocket kits.
ETA: Are you going to be doing your own install?

520 conversion is nothing more than using a 520 chain & sprockets...i.e..narrower & less rotating mass. Often, aluminum sprockets are used as well w/a 520 conversion. Really, for everyday street & twisty use, the OEM 525 size chain & steel sprockets are sufficient. They will last longer & cost less.

as gotcbr said, stick with the 525 chain, but since youre planning on doing it yourself, i urge you to get the proper tools to press on and rivet the master link. when i replaced my chain i just used what we had in the garage, and it made what should have been a 30-45 minute job, into a 3.5 hour job.

^ Yep, proper tools are a must. The how-to/tutorial I linked above shows proper chain tool kit to do the installation properly. CycleGear has the Stockton Tool chain kit on sale right now...STOCKTON TOOL COMPANY Chain Breaker and Rivet Tool Kit - Parts & Accessories - Cycle Gear.
W/a chain tool kit, it really makes the job easy & you know its done right. Additionally, I'll direct you to the factory service manual. It has the steps for installation as well...& also gives you the proper master link pin flare specs.

I went with a 525 (97-98 size) and used a red chain from d2moto.com (Volar) and steel sprockets off of ebay. So far i have about 1800 miles and have yet had to re-adjust my tension! so i am very happy eventhough its a "cheaper" chain.
