I picked up a replacement header for my bike, but I noticed that this one doesn't look like the original. I'm thinking it may be a Micron, and ideas?

 

Stainless steel...probably not micron....might be Muzzy. Often Muzzys will engrave the bike model near a spring loop on the various pipe parts. But, Muzzy wasn't much for the band clamps...

Hindle is another possibility...?

Right on, thanks for the help. It's in the mail right now, I won't know much more about it until i get it. But either way, it'll be an improvement over stock I assume?

 

Stock header is the first pic, the one I got in the mail is the second. The guy said it was for an F3, but I don't think so. The stock header mounts flush to the cylinder head, and the flanges are flush. This new header mounts inside the ports, or fits somewhat inside the exhaust ports, and the flanges stick off the mounting holes about 1/4 inch. Am I missing something here? Or is this new part certainly not for an F3.
