Honestly..........how much do you want to spend? Speed cost money, and internal engine work on sport bikes cost a **** load. It will be tough to improve on what Honda has already done. Can your $3000 make the motor better than Honda's Millions at the time? Not likely, the only thing is you dont have to adhere to EPA standards, etc. Regear it, put a full pipe/jet kit properly and enjoy. It's alot harder to sell a heavily modded bike in the future than a stock one. Especially one that has had engine work done. And.......in the end you end up with an F3. No changing that. If you want more power, your money is better spent just buying a different bike. Trust me, I know. I've been trying to figure out how to make my 900RR as powerful as my brothers Gix1K and it's just not feesible. I could do it, but it would cost twice the price of just buying a Gixxer myself and doing it that way. Just my .02

There's always cramming a 900RR motor in it...

The last Frankenbike we built had a 99 CBR900RR motor in with a 1027cc kit, Big flatslides, 5 angle valve job etc. Several thousand just in the motor.... course it would outrun a stock Busa 1/8" mile and looked like a stock F3...

k&n air filter
factory pro stg1 or 3 hetkiy
lightweight chain and sprockets, gearing.
full exhaust
weight reduction and upgrade components

if your motor ever needed to get torn apart for rebuild or want more power i would get the 2mm overbore wiseco pistons compression and displacement to 13.1/637cc $488.06/set. Web cams .352/.332 $565 at cbrzone.com

Buy a bike with a bigger engine or do some track days and become a better rider.

Not being sarcastic, but it's usually more rider than bike.

80% rider / 20% bike , i ride in the advanced class on my f3 at trackdays and smoke alot of the guys on there new souped up bikes, and run lap times just as good as some of the new bikes, so that just shows it isnt all the bike , more the rider , there will come a time u out ride the bike then u know its time to move up.
but if u still wana do some head work best thing to do for a f3 is a
5 angle valve seat cut
port and match head
and drop hrc cams in it or web cams
u might hit 100hp with all that lol , best bet is to hold off, do some trackdays and find out what your bike can really do , going fast in a str8 line doesnt count lol then buy a newer bike 03 and up , stock new bikes put out 105 average , compared to 90 hp from a f3
just my opinion .

The biggest bang for your buck would be a nitrous system. Go for it

They used to do a lot of work of the CBR's for racing, but that cutting it pretty fine, and you will be shortening the life expectancy of your donk. All bike riders go through the process of wanting more power, just get a bigger bike.
