Which way on the fuel shut off is on, off, and reserve?
Hey guys, I just bought a 96 F3 last night, and it has been primed in, and has no directions as to which way is On/Off/Reserve on the shut off.
Maybe its the same on all bikes, but I had an 87 BMW K75S before this bike, and it was fuel injected, so the carburetion is a whole new thing for me.
I plan on posting pictures, and a build thread on the bike as soon as I can get some pictures in the light.
Also - does anyone have any suggestions on some preferred handle bar grips? I can find some anywhere of course, just wanted some opinions. My throttle side is loose and just slips when I try to accelerate.
Thanks in advance! Glad to be a new owner of an F3 - LOVING it so far.

also - when I am in the powerband RPMS (starting around 7k) the tachometer goes crazy, and just flaps all around. Im guessing maybe a corroded contact, but wasnt sure if its a common problem with these bikes with a quick easy fix.
On the grips, I like the pro-grip gels.
On the tach... yeah, probably a bad connection somewhere. That's a tough one because it could be in the cluster and hard to tell. Maybe try to run over some rumble strips or speed bumps?
