hey guys im new to the site. I just bought a 95 cbr 600 and it had some flush mount rear turn signals that needed to be hooked up. The left side (looking from the back) works fine but when i try to connect the right side to the wires that i thought it originally hooked up to it and when i turn on the signal it just turns off no blinking or anything. Then i tried connecting to different wires which makes it act as a running light and still work but the problem then is that it drains the battery. The same thing happened when i tried to connect it with the front signal. (it is a 2 wire setup) can anyone help me with this? which color wires are the originals and if i did it right originally what could be wrong with it? Thanks

hey all I just move my directional lights underneath my tail, and when i re hook them per the wiring scheme one stays lit and the other stays off. they also wont blink. but I think that's due to low voltage as i was doing the tests off of the charger.
The lights are supposed to be off in their natural state right?
please help me. I'd like to get my tail put back together
oh another thing the directional lights have three wires red, black, and black with a white stripe?

I will take a look at my lights when I get a chance was having the same problems. Here is a link to a manual that has all the wiring diagrams. Hope this helps. Also check your fuses and flashers. http://www.cbrextreme.com/downloads/...manual-15.html

. . . . . . if I'm reading this right, it sounds like you have a bad flasher relay. I could be totally confused though.
Get the wiring diagram from Chapter 19 of the service manual, and isolate the two wires you need. Check the voltage with the bike on, but not running (should be 0). If it is anything else, your relay may be worn. Check the voltage going INTO the relay (should be 12~14). If it's OK, swap the relay. If it's not OK, Test you R/R.
You really need to make sure you have the right wires, first and foremost. Also, you checked your fuses, right?
