Well I have talked to three different places about my issue today. One said he would have to ride it, the other said its not the clutch and he wouldn't even do it, and the last one said its defiantly not my clutch, its the dogs on the gears. They are worn out. Price from place one $500-$1000 (rough estimates) second: wouldn't even do it, third $1500-$2000. I dont have two grand to blow on a $2400 bike. I think Ill limp it through the summer and see what I can do this winter. Thanks for the help.

 

check this and other forums for wrecked bikes / someone parting them out to see if you can score a tranny??? should definitely be a cheaper alternative right?

 

kman, I noticed you're in wisconsin too, if you're anywhere near neenah, call wisconsin cycle salvage, see what they can drum up. I scored a bunch of parts there reasonably.

Trannies also pop on ebay for pretty cheap too. The only thing is you don't know if you're getting the same problem.
