Took the F3 for its first ride today
Rode 105 miles today. First solo ride, first time riding the 'new' bike.
Today was nice. Kevin, my roommate,got my plates to me yesterday. Got the bike out of the truck and road all around today. Did some around town riding to check things on the bike, then hit then highway for awhile. Was nice riding around. Bike needs a rotor and head bearings (triple tree bearings).
Bent the rear brake lever back into place. This weekend I'll do some more work on the bike. Pull the fairings off and check things out. While riding I could smell some oil burning, so gonna see whats leaking or if something oil was burning off.
Now I gotta get used to a vehicle that has a highway cruising RPM of 6000-7000
