Went for a ride today with a couple buddies. Leaving from home.


Meet my buddy at Cubby Bear North to grab a bit to eat


Then rode up to Wisconsin. Stopped for a break.



Meet up with another guy. Rode over to Lake Geneva and just rode around for a while. Then stopped at the gas station.




Then rode back home. 171 miles round trip


My bike just rolled 4K miles today. It was an absolutely awesome time. So relaxing. Took a lot of back roads where we were the only people on the roads. Hit some twisties, some highways and some downtown areas. Just all around a great day. Hope you guys were out there riding too.

 

No riding today, rain, rain and more rain. More rain in the next week ahead.

Depressing so much that all I want to do is sleep until it stops raining.

I was out 4 days ago and got caught in a good one. Tree limbs were coming down all around me and the sky was dark as night. As the water was running out of my shoes and cars were pulling off the road. I was thinking about my new rain gear that I had bought the day before. It was hone with my old rain gear.

But I'm glad that someone has good weather.

 

Went early in the morning, went around half island, stopped at gym before I met up with surfer guys at jamba juice (weekend ritual), went for short ride before going home. Then went out again for late afternoon ride

 

Nice pics R Dub. I clocked nearly the exact same mileage yesterday on my ride! Although we had just a few more people join in...

 

Nice man. Yeah look like you had a couple more than us lol. BTW was that Nate guy with you. He is such a tool J/k buddy. That's awesome that you were able to get out. I noticed that when you have no where to go and not on a time schedule that just cruising around is very relaxing and traffic doesn't **** you off.

 

Agreed, the ride I went on was an organized local forum ride, but it was great to just set Sunday aside solely for riding. Even better that the route was almost entirely backroads. As a bonus, the rain that was supposed to arrive midway through the ride held off for a few hours until after I made it home .

Nate refused to ride all weekend, too much not enough ...and some BS excuse about having to fly out of state for work.
