ok really what size is the rear rim of everybodys bike because i have a 5.5 rear... most people say 5inch rear... i thought i was buggin till i measured it... i run a 170 tho

I have a 180/55 rear so similar to yours, they are awesome! I have never had any issues with it. They are Pirelli Supercorsa's

DOnt measure the rim, cuz you might not be doing it right. Just look on the rim, it should tell you 17x what ever it is.

I was reading off the back tyre. Measuring the rim i presume would be a little difficult as the tyre usually sticks out slightly more than the width of the rim ha

thanks for all your info! i went ahead a bought 160 60 17 for my rear and a 120 60 17 for the front! pilot powers! thanks guys for all your info!!

i would double check it but i did double check it with multiple rulers

I want to say im pretty accurate because i dont have a tire on my rim at the moment... i took it off practicing to take the wheel off the rear... i measured it it from one end to the next... exactly 5.5inchs

ok so inner rim says "J 17xMT5.50 DOT ENKEI"

its hard to get a clear picture because its dirty in it... bu thats the wheel i have on the bike... im guessing it maybe a 900rr rear wheel, not sure

Thats a 900rr wheel. Its a bolt on, but you will have better handling and more stability with a stock wheel and tire. The bike was designed around it. And I know Honda knows more about these things than any of us lol.
