tires
hey guys i just got myself a 96 F3 and i love it. Im new to bikes and need some help getting a new rear tire. It looks like the rear tire is a Dunlop D208zr 160/60/17. The previous owner said the front tire was recently replaced, and the treads do look good and watnot, but the rear tire is showin a decent amount of wear on it. I geuss my quesiton is, should i just buy the same tire thats on the rear now? and are there any different sizes i could have on the back? i would like the widest or fatest one that could fit. any help or tips would be a great help to me. thanks

RE: tires
there was a previous post about shinko or something like that, they said there good tires (stick good on turns) for the price (200.00 or so set), ive been reading about the size, ive read the the biggest, fattest tire is far from the answer. some say after havein a fat 170-180, they go back to stock and theres a bigdifference, Im picky myself so i ve just been reading reviews. Defintly not doing the 180 thing like i wanted to do to , im all about best handling possiable F* all that stretchen ****.

RE: tires
having the widest tire on the back isn't always the best thing. it all depends on your riding style and what feels good when your riding it. plus, you don't really have much room to go any bigger on the back unless you do something with the swing arm and get a new wheel to fit the new tire. i have the michelin pilot powers on mine and i love em.
