throttle tube ?

Default throttle tube ?

how easy is it to change this out do i have to take off the gas tank and all that and loosen the throttle cable ?

Nope, it's simple.

It's all based on cable notches just like your clutch lever. Tear into it! I think the tube is like what, $6? Is yours broken and cracked? Mine in the F3 was and it made the throttle so sticky, and wouldn't return on it's own. That's what made me take the grip off to look.

Forgot to mention, just take your clip-on off. Makes everything a cinch!

when i was changing out my grips i messed it up . it had a crack in it just got worse i already have the tube and the inside bar weights i need to change im about to go see if i can get it done now nice weather for a ride today

I didn't think of taking off the clip, but I was already in the process of changing my air filter when i changed mine and just loosened up the cable down near the carbs. But yea, go the clip route unless you want to take your tank and filter box off.

i got it i was riding last night i need to lube my cables some but twas not to hard just takes a little patience , i got my handle bar weights out also so one bar end is in . the bar end that broke off i need to get the bolt out cause iused lock tite and that sucker wont let go gonna try soakin it in something
