Tail raiser - who to??

Default Tail raiser - who to??

I want to taise the tail af my f3 with about 35mmand is therefore looking for some info on how to make a new "dogbone" that will do this...

Is there anybody who has made one and can help me with the length af a new "dogbone"

you could replace the rear shock with one that is slightly longer than the stock one. i put one from an f4i on mine and it raised it up.

Yep, mee too.


Put an F4 rear shock and dropped the forks 10mm.

Got another rear shock (like new) to sell if you are interested? (Will post from UK)

I thought about that but dont know how much will that raise the tail?
I had hope for the cheaper solution (home made dogbone)
But how much did i raise your tail and how much for the shock (its from at f4i right?) or is there no diffence between the F4 and the F4i shock ?

Default Dog Bone Link

You are on the right track with the dog bone link!

A longer link means a higher ride height.

A shorter link means a lower ride height.

I cut the center out of one link and added it to the center of a second link then tig welded it together giving me a longer dog bone link for a higher ride height on my F1 Hurricane and it worked well, no problems...

It can be done, pick up a couple links off ebay and make your own link to your specs!

can i use a f4/f4i shock on my 94 f2??? i want to raise the rear up as well...

Okay thanks.. think ill look for at cheap shock in god working order and tray to make my one dogbone when i get back from school (3 mounths from now. :-()
Had hoped that there were a f3 owner out there with some specs and fotos...

Meeson01 - Yes from what I have read you can use the f4 shock on the f2..
