Default swingarms

I have been looking into streching my bike. I talked to a couple guys and they are looking for 600-800 dollars to make my swingarm longer because they dont make any kind of extensions for the f3. MY question is. Is there any other cbrs that have a swingarm that will bolt right up to my f3 that they make extensions for ? that would bring the price down a bit and back into my price range.

I've been searching high and low too, for swingarm extensions. There does not seem to be any options out there for us, other that going to a fabricator to modify our oe swingarms... or swapping to another. I don't know about direct swap-ability from CBR model to model, but I did find this http://cbrworld.net/forums/thread/291863.aspxon how to swap a 900rr swingarm to an F3. However, some mods had to be made to get it to fit. Then... there are swingarm extensions available for the 900rr swingarm. I don't know how the cost adds up. The swingarm could be expensive, plus the extensions. You may be close to the $600-800 anyways. But I dunno.

The extension worked really well, I used them when I was dra gracing some years back. What I found out is extending the swing arm to much will reduce the weight transfer to the back wheel to much and you will get wheel spin.

I might still have the chain I used so I could tell you how many links I was using.

I'm not sure how much it will cost to have them fabricated but I might be willing to sell the once I have, just make me an offer.
