Default Stupid Windscreen Question

Another stupid question from me.

I am replacing my windscreen and there are two visible screws holding the windscreen in. Is that all I have to remove to take the windscreen out? Just two screws?

And how come it is so complicated to take off the fairings of these F3's? It's like opening a safe.

thank you so much

Not exactly. There are 2 screws that hold black inner (cosmetic) covers to the upper inside of the fairing stay. Then you have the mirror bolts, 2 on each side that have to be removed as well.

As for the getting the fairings off, it's only complicated to someone that hasn't done it a dozen or so times. After that, it becomes second nature .

alright I removed the mirrors but I can't get the two inner screws out. I keep turning them but they stay put.

So I decided to take apart the bike. I got every fairing off except for the Nose fairing. How do I take that off? That is the only fairing the owners manual leaves out.

I would love it if you could help!

bump

Do i really have to take off the head fairing to take off the windshield? This is the only thing I have left to do but I cannot get it off. How do I take this off? It seems like I have to take off the whole front fairing.

no you dont have to remove any of the fairings to get the windscreen off. the 2 plastic inside side cosmetic pillar things. then take off the mirrors. then take the screen out
