Default Stripping her down-my mods

Then dressing her back up.

Just got a spanking clean 1997. Thought I'd add my own style to the bike and upgrade the cosmetics a bit. Going to clean her also and lube and new oils and coolant.

So far I got a:
K&N Filter
Double Bubble Screen
Two Brothers Full Exhaust System
Flush mounts
Integrated Tail lights
Fender Eliminator
Plate eliminator
Hi Flo Oil Filter

I will be adding:

New bar ends
New CBR logo Gel handle grips
Extended Frame Sliders (one day I will thank it and kiss it)
Blue LEDs under the tail (just ricing it up)
New Racing Mirrors
Lockhart Phillips Stock Replacement Speedscreen Smoke
CBR Tank Pad
Purolator Oil Filter

So far I stripped her and this is how she looky

also got some original pics

I will post final pics once I am done with her!

pretty clean for a 1997 huh?

tiny mirrors and CBR tank pad

grips are a fuking pain to install. didnt need glue because there is no space for glue to fit in lol

yup got it with my two bros
I actually had to saw off some protruding engine parts so the exhaust system would fit. the pipes under the bike still get in the way when taking off my drain plug however.

Just did an oil change and oil filter change.

hey willduce I will post pics asap. Just waiting for my speedscreen. I tried the mirrors on and they look much sharper than the blocks honda gave me. Also you can adjust them quite a lot. You can flip them over up or down for a different shape and adjust the arm so the mirrors stick out or hug your frame.

the quality however leaves much to be desired but I got what I paid for; they were cheap.

For some reason my left and right turn signals blink at different speeds. The bulbs are not identical. could this be why? or is it something with the relay....

Isn't that Shell Rotella 5w-40 a synthetic oil for diesel engines?

f3biker: yup it is for diesel engines, it's just that i did some research and found it works well in motorcycles as well. $20 for a gallon at most auto stores.

you should look it up im pretty sure lots of the guys here use it as well

chuckbear: lol yea man I got it off ebay and they are generic. no brand. they feel cheap as hell but look stunna.

I will post pics tonight! I just got my lockhart windscreen delivered so i can put the mirrors on now.
