stock midpipe pics??
Anyone have some stock midpipe pics for me to look at? Preferably ones with it off the bike, by itself....but any good picswill help.I'm trying to figure out why my muffler sticks out from the rear of the bike instead of staying parallel to it. Wanna compare whats on there now to what the bends in the pipe are supposed to be.
Well, the stock "midpipe" is actually welded to the muffler, there is no seperate elbow pipe.
When putting an aftermarket exhaust on our bikes you cant just get the slip-on, you need that elbow pipe aka midpipe as well.
Here's my F2, the F3 is the same.

That is messed right up, looks like a home-made midpipe with the bend angles way off.
I doubt you can lean the bike over very far on that one side without scraping pipe on the ground.
Take a couple profile pictures (facing the bike) of where it attaches to the midpipe as well as where it attaches to the passenger peg.
I really dont know how they messed that up lol.

either that pipe is not off a f3 for that year or the previous owner bent it to fit another bike . if you know someone with a large pipe bender you can try to bend it slightly to fix that problem .n that pipe looks like a vance n hines they are like the stock pipes in one entire piece they dont have mid pipes like the slip ons
Just a Mickey Mouse job, you're gonna need to get a new mid-pipe with the proper bends and the right diameter pipe for that particular muffler.
I would just get rid of that thing and get a new one all together.
