Hey guys i apologize for starting a new thread about batteries but i really need a quick answer. Im on the verge of finally get my bike up and running without dying and leaving me stranded.
I just wanted to know if our bike (mine is a '97) came stok with a Yuasa battery? And about how much mileage can one squeeze out of a battery or does that vary with different factors. Thanks in advance!

Well i cant tell you for sure what battery the F3 came with stock but as far as average mileage you can get out of a battery all depends.
My buddy who uses his motorcycle everyday to go to work drives about 30 miles a day. He normally replaces it once a year.
Normally during the summer it takes a crap and he replaces it.
If im not mistaken he uses the normal Advance auto parts battery, autocraft or whatever. That is a lead/acid battery i think.
I did see somewhere they made or make a AGM battery now for motorcycles. I could be wrong but i could have swore i saw them. If they do the AGM batterys are really nice. They have a very long life span and can be mounted in any position. They are maintance free completely sealed.
I`ll look up some info and see if i can find them.

Thanks to everyone who chimed in on this. Lesson learned for me here. I got the bike back from the shop and they said that my NEW r/r was shot. Thing was useless. People do yourself a favor and go with the gsxr/r6 upgrade or buy OEM. Ignore ones from Ebay, they're probably a hit or a miss. I'll be buying a new one from Honda for $220 and get my bike back on the road! Anyone else paid the same amount for a new R/R from Honda?

Willduce - haha. Man so am i. I would love to get a gsxr/r6 rr but im not really mechanically inclined. Haha
kuroshio - man that sounda like a deal but can you vouch for any of them? The electrosport sounds great but i just dont want to be let down again. Ive spent way too many hours wrenching on the bike and throwing money at it than riding.
