Stator to Regulator/Rectifier: Best Approach for Direct Connection
Fellow SeaBarfers,
From the wiring diagrams of the CBR600F3, I can see that the stator outputs to the regulator/rectifier.
From what I see physically, the stator wires make a stop at the connector box beneath the fuel tank. I presume from there that it then goes to the regulator.
I would like to use 12ga wire and connect it direct to the regulator/rectifier. But what do I do about the connector box? I see 5 different sets of plugs going into it.

the stator wires go up to a connector the wires from this then go to the reg rec with an addition 2 wires there
you can take the first connector off and solder the wires together
its an easy job and stops a build up of heat in the connector it does mean if you need to remove your stator you have to cut the wires or unsolder them
