Rode mine today still with no pump. The one I got off here was no good. About an hour into the ride started running bad. I was in slow traffic and alot of stop lights. It died a couple times and I limped it home. It was about 80 degrees today. Could not having the pump be causeing vapor lock?????

Heh, something I've noticed on here since joining: all our bikes have their own personalities.
They've got their own little quirks and behavior. So what may work for one of us may not work for another. You gotta setup a plan of action and follow it thru. Otherwise you'll end up all over the place, sometimes trampling over you own steps and knocking something out of whack that you already fixed.
mtemple07, your bike lacks a fuel pump. Get it in place and you're a step closer to resolving a myriad of issues. Some that haven't made themselves known yet. Even if cleaning, jetting and syncing your carbs without the fuel pump gets your bike running it won't be running at full potential. And all that effort (cept maybe the cleaning) will go to waste when you do decide to install a fuel pump.
My carb issue had me going all over the place. I cleaned the carbs 4 times (only takes me 1/2 can of beer to get them off now). I rejetted the bike. I replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter. I ran 3 bottles of Seafoam thru it. A more methodical approach would have had me fixing the fecking speedo early on or bypassing the air solenoid.
