sputtering ???
so i did a tune up on my bike changed the oi,l plugs, and cleaned the filter. Now it sounds perfect at idle and in neutral it taks up all the way just fine. Same in any gear with the cluch in no matter the speed but when its under load it just starts to sputter kinda like its out of gas or not getting spark all the time. i think it is somthing electrical because the fuel system is fine when there is no load.
any ideas would be apprecaited

Check the rubber insulators at the base of your carbs. I was having an issue with my bike where it would idle just fine but when attempting to ride, there was a severe lack of power. I went and tightened all the bands and botta bing botta boom... I had my bike back in order. Another thing you might want to check is that all the air hoses are connected correctly.

i have checked all of the air hoses to make sure they were good. and the plugs are all in the right cylinders. i guess ill try the intake boot bands and clean up the carbs when im in there next i plan to replace the cct as well and see what happens then.

it has slightly less power before the power band but when i hit where the power band should be it just sputters unless i ease off of it then get back on it slowly. my thought was that the carbs may have been adjusted when the filter was dirty so it was running lean but it acts alot like when its out of gas you know hitting every once and a while

i would also check the pilot screws,mine did that when i would have other people on my bike. maybe a half - full turn out would cure the problem.
edit- or you could turn the spark plugs down a degree (or setting, whichever one it is). that will give you less power, but you wont have to worry about running lean.
