i keep eatin up spark plugs. when i pulled the plugs i noticed the guy who had the bike before me put bigger jets in. could this be the problem? what do i have to do to fix them?i have ayosh. exhaust, bigger jets and a k&n filter.

Do you have the right type of spark plugs, not running "Hotter" or "Colder" plugs.

 

the plugs are black and carboned up. when i check to see if the spark plug sparks, thespark goes off to the side of the plug.

 

yeah, they are normal everyday spark plugs, i got the plugs at a local honda dealership

 

Black carbon is fuel fouled. Chech to see if the gapping is correct. Try to see if you can take some fine sandpaper and clean the electrodes and then check for the spark again.

 

already bought some new plugs the other day. how can i prevent the fouling from happening?

 

fix whats causing the extra feul. Or maybe check the air filter, maybe not enough air!
