spark plugs
You can tell how the bike is running by looking at the plugs.. in terms of fuel mixture. Fuel mixture can have an effect on the engine temperature.
Spark plugs aren't instrumental in making a bike overheat.

if a spark plug isnt put into the bike properly or properly tighten how does it effect the bike.

Your plugs looked pretty fouled man. I'd replace them if i were you. I think they're supposed to be kinda pancake color.
Without better pictures, I doubt anyone here will be able to help much. There are plenty of pages on the sites of spark plug mfgs. that tell you what a correct plug is supposed to look like.
In general at the electrode, if the plug is black and wet and smells like gas, it is fuel fouled and you need to adjust the carbs, -or you have a spark problem. (either gapped wrong, or bad coils/wires) if it is black at the electrode with oil, then you have bad valve seals or ring problems. (does it smoke out the back?) As said above, it should look a pancake color and look fairly clean.
If the fuel mixture is too rich, the plugs will be black with soot and or wet with fueland the bike will not run hot. When people say a plug makes something run hot, it generally means combustion temps. Normally a lean mixture wll cause internal problems, but you should be able to hear the problem before it gets really bad. (detonation etc.) I'm not sure if a lean condition will make a bike run to the point where the temp guage goes red or not. In a car I know it will not if your cooling system is in good shape.
Good luck.
