sounds from front end
i have a noise coming from my front end. it is like a nocking/scrapingsound.i thought it was the brake disc hitting the forks, but now i'm not so sure. my only other guess is that the wheel bearings are bad. i'd like to know if anybody else has had this problem, or knows what the hell i'm talking about. thanks
i had rear wheel bearings go out on me they made a horrible noise. scraping and grating and all that what not. if you can get the front wheel off the ground it should wiggle a little if its the bearings. or take the front wheel off and stick your finger in the axle hole the inner race of the bad bearing will wiggle and hang in spots as you jiggle/rotate it. they are easy to replace BUY HONDA PARTS! buy the book do what it say's[8D] check your front brake pads first though....
Dude,
I completely know the sounds you are hearing. My F3 was making a weird sound a while back after I rebuilt the front brakes. It took me a few days to figure it out, but it was bearings. take your wheel off and look at em. its pretty easy to see that they are bad.
