Hey guys, considering a solo seat, I like the look but curious about how others feel about them. Seems like I don't see very many as I see bikes on the road.

Gotta factor cost to paint, purchase price as well as the look. I have no one that would ride on the back of my stock seat now, wife is a frady cat and kids are to little so I don't have to keep room for +1. I like the sharkskinz solo one and its not to much cash I guess. So are they worth it? Yes I know if I like it buy it but I'm curious on how you feel about them.

I like them. if i had the same year bike. i would suggest you sell me your stock seat and get a solo seat lol.

Solo seat is more so for tracking the bike... I really don't see a reason to have solo on a sportbike otherwise... I mean unless you ... well not going into that subject :P

 

I bought my F3 with the sharkskinz solo seat and I absolutely love it. it makes the bike look much more aggressive IMO. I'd say go for it, if that's the look you like.

Dude, that's the look I'm going for and that's bad as*! I love it. Does it come with the rear light already cut out? I'm sold on it for sure now.

 

thanks! I really dig it. the rear light is already cut out, although the solo tail covers up half the light so I did the clear alternatives LED integrated tail so it's brighter and easier to see than the stock light.

Yeah I see what you mean about the seat covering it a bit. Man it looks nice. Only problem I see is it looks by your pic to also cover up a little of the sides or it could be the pic. Kinda looks like it cut off the corners on each side and only left the square center. Am I seeing that correctly? My sigs are in the corners.

yeah, the seat cowl covers up the corners of the lights. if you have your signals in the corners, you'll have to do some cutting.
