Default Solo Seat Cowl

Hi,
I've molded my own seat cowl. I thought I'd share some pics of the progress. It's in white primer still, and has to be painted. I'll probably incorporate some yellow details in the paint scheme. Fits very well, I just have to figure out how to secure it. Thought I'd share, so check it out. I'll post some pics of the finished product too.
Mike

Looks great! What are you thinking for securing it?

I'm thinking the Honda wing, or "CBR" or some variation of it (i.e. "CBR 600 F3" or something), would look great if you detailed it on there, like a decal. Perhaps you could also throw in some purple. As far as securing it, you could do that many ways, one option might be putting velcro on the passenger strap, or a wedge/pin construction on the edges to hold it on the seat

Thanks guys. I was thinking on the same lines, with a "wedge pin" so not to have to stick anything on the seat. I'm going to paint it with enamel tonight. I was thinking white for the base colour, then I'll probably do something with yellow. Thanks for the input! I'll post some pics when the paint is on.

Well here's the painted product. I'm probably going to put a few more stickers down the center (I'm a sticker fiend, lol). What do you all think? I used acrylic enamel paint. I love the stuff. Goes on great and dries really fast.

Thanks harlowz. I used Duplicolor High-Gloss Acrylic Enamel "Yellow". It just happen to be a good match with what I call a Mustard Yellow, that's on the bike. I also used Duplicolor's High-Gloss Acrylic Enamel "White". I haven't figured out how I will attach it to the seat. Any ideas?
