Default simple problem

hey I am going to change the sprockets on my 96 f3 from a 15/43 stock to a 13/45 (2 down 2 up). I was wondering if I would have to change the stock chain because of the bigger rear sprocket. also how bad will this effect highway riding...I know its going to rob the top end.
thanks guys

if i am correct i believe the smallest sprocket you can run on the front of that size chain is a 14. -1 +3 would give you the same effect
