Side stand switch
start with taking off the ss switch and cleaning it and making sure all the wires are connected. if that doesnt fix it then go through all the wiring to make sure theres no broken wires or loose connections.
The symptom you're describing gives all indications of the side stand switch connector just being unplugged. If it's unplugged, it will think the side stand is down. The connector is in front of the battery, it's a green 3 pin connector.
Hey its definitely not unplugged but the light on the cluster also doesnt go on. After taking it off and cleaning it, the bike will work but the light still wont go on
Sounds like a bulb. They do go out sometimes. They can be removed from the back side of the gauge cluster. They're behind those little black and brown caps that you see in the photo.
