Shinko 180's on, i like them.
Today I put on the Shinko's (rear only) tires, I like them over the ones I had on.
What sold me was braking, I love the way the stopped the bike. With the Mezo on, the bike slides to a stop if I lock up the rear tire. These don't, maybe becauseits new, but anyway they beat the Duns I had on my 750 and the Mezo, I just took off.
I know they say not to take steep leans on new tires, but I did and it handle very well, I got to about 1 inch of the edge of the tire new tires untouched and it felt very stable.
Next week I put on the front and won't be as aggressive, because of the front slips, I going down and don't want that.
But as for the rear, I in love with Shinko.

Yes the 005, today was highway day, love them, braking was unbelievable. As some would say, keep a good distance, but if you travel RT 78 in NJ,traffic can be going good at 80, in a blink of a eye a dead stop. Which I had to do two hard stops and if my olds tires was on I would had to take the shoulder. The first hard stop, was nice and solid braking, NO SKIDDING what so ever. The secondstop wasmuch harder, as to where it skid, but it grab can't explain it, but much much better than the tire I took off.
Felt very stable at all speeds, still took accelerated corning easy, just because they new. With the old tire corning at 80, new tire corning at 65, maybe until Monday.
The tire is not hard over bumps, as to my old tires I can feel every lump in the road. Tire pressure 32 PSI, comfortable ride.
I am over all please with them.
Pictures I will post tonight. I left my usb cable home DANG!!!

I got a new Pilot Power 160 rear about 15miles from deal's gap when my Pilot race take off started showing bands while up there. It was raining also all the way up to the Gap. I scrubbedthem in on deal's gap and by the 3rd or 4th turn I was leaning it to the edge of the tire. So I don't buy into that "Nurse the tires" for a bit. Hell scrub them off the fun way.

Which I had a 180 on my bike when I got it and I wasn't a fan of it. It pushed bad in a turn and I couldn't get as great of a lean angle as I can with my 160. I could imagine your braking being better being you have more of a verticle contact patch but you shouldn't be using your rear brake much, much less locking it up. Stay on the front brake to be safe.
Either way ride that tire hard.

The 160 works better on your F3 because of the width of the wheel wasnt meant for a 180. And by babyin new tires in is more of dont try to run the dragon etc at 80mph on unscrubbed tires lol.
