Default Running good!!

OK guys I just wanted to tell you that I change my CCT and the gasket. No more noise!! BTW when you guys run into this check out service honda.com (thanks dirt) also my bike is a 96 and I ordered a 97 cct and it works fine. They are identical and the 97 one is cheaper by like 12 bucks or so.

Also for guys with the fuel pump issue.. i also fixed that by replacing the contacts (thanks dirt) 38 bucks. Real easy. Also I went ahead and replaced the fuel filter as well OMFG IT WAS SO CLOGGED! I tried to blow thru it and nothing happened. Im sure this can cause issues with your bike. 15 buxs! REPLACE IT!

later bout to go ride

My bike just vibrates alot anything over 5k RPM... I know my tensioner is bad because its old and I can hear it on startup. I was just wondering if the new tensioner made your bike seem like it vibrated less?

Your vibration likely isn't caused by the CCT. I'd look into vacuum leaks, unsynched carbs, or any other air/fuel intake issues..

I'm not saying your CCT doesn't need to be replaced. Just saying not to be surprised when there's still more troubleshooting and work to do after it is.
