Default Replaced Battery, now bike won't turn on

I hadn't ridden my bike(95 F3) in a week or two and it was pretty cold when i tried to start it last. battery went dead just as it sounded like it was going to fire up. I pulled the battery, charged it, put it back in and now when i put the key in the "ON" position i get no headlights or gauge lights. i checked the battery voltage and its good, the battery is brand new as well. I pulled the sub fuses up front and tested all of them and they are good. The only one I haven't checked is the main 30 amp fuse. All the connections are tight on the battery. Any tips on how to get to the main fuse? I know its in front of the battery but I can't seem to find it. I have the repair manual but it doesnt show how to get to the main fuse. Does the battery box need to be pulled to get to it? And yes, I double checked I have the battery hooked up right. ie. not backwards. Thanks in advance for any tips.

yeah its showing right in front of the battery. maybe between the battery and the tank in the battery tray

if you download the manual it's page 17-2 in the electric starter section

take the left side rear fairing off....it"ll be in a rubber grommet by the batter box...pull the red thing off, and it's right under there...that"s probably your problem...good luck
