Rebuilding my Superbike F3
After having engine trouble at MsrH ( lost 6th gear) I decided it was time to drag my Spare f3 chassis from behind the garage and start building it into a full on Superbike that would have been a killer if they had world supersport back then. ( Thank you Gill Eperson for the chassis, just needed a wiring harness, he gave me a clmost complete chassis)
Soo, I stripped it down, and cut off all non essential tabs off the frame. and cut alot off the rear subframe. I lost 7 lbs off the Frame.
Then I sent it off to Tony to have some nice paint work done
For now, that is all. The motor is mostly finished. Need a new cylinder head, then have it ported and polished, and install the goodies. Bottom end has Carrilo rods, Ape crankshaft, Polydyne coated Transmition gears and clutch assembly, Ebc clutch kit, Not flywheel, and weisco 1st over pistons.
Im hoping for 115 at the wheel on half 93, half c12, 120 on u4.
MOre to come tomarrow.
