Default rebuilding f3 from the ground up

So i sold my spare engine, frame, and carb's to a good friend and im going to help him rebuild the bike, its a 98, no fairings on it yet, some dirt got into the carb's and intake befor i owned it, sooo im assuming the first step we need to do is take the top half of the engine apart so make sure everything is cleaned out in there and the same thing with the carbs, just curious if anybody has any kind of experience with this kind of a project and would perhaps offer up some experience....ya know those little things' that just **** you off, and catch you off guard?

No experience with this but, I'm curious how it's done. Keep us posted on the progress. Good luck.

Take some detailed pictures of it before you start tearing into it. Their always seems to be left over parts.

Buy or steal a good torque wrench. Best place to buy one, Sears. best place to steal one, snap-on truck (while the driver is at lunch or the nudie bar)
